Why?\nHow should we memorialize violence in our communities?\nHow can we build a better future after violence? \nJoin us and our guests from Rwanda for the day as we visit the memorial site of the Osthofen concentration camp and discuss these important questions from different perspectives and with insights from different contexts. After a guided tour of the site\, we will take part in a workshop on the topic. \nLanguage: This event will be held in English. \nWhen? Tuesday\, 21.07.2026\, 10 am – 5:30 pm: guided tour and workshop; from 5:30 pm: pizza \nWhere? Osthofen Concentration Camp Memorial Site (Ziegelhüttenweg 38\, 67574 Osthofen). Further details on options for group travel to and from the event will be given after registration. \nCosts: Participation in the seminar is free\, though registration is required. If you do not have a Deutschlandticket and incur costs by traveling to the event by regional train (excluding IC/ICE/EC) 2nd class or bus\, STUBE will reimburse you for the journey.
