DESCRIPTION:Berlin Study Trip:\nGerman Development Policy between Global Justice and Strategic Interests\n  \nThis event is a cooperation by CampusGemeinde Kaiserslautern and STUBE Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland \n  \n \nDevelopment cooperation is changing globally. Many traditional donor countries are drastically cutting development budgets\, while newer donor countries have joined the field. These changes are accompanied by shifting policy priorities and debates on the ends of development cooperation and who should benefit from it. At the same time\, unfolding crises and conflicts across the globe endanger the futures of many and require urgent attention. \nWhat future is development cooperation heading for? \nWhat challenges does this political context entail for development cooperation that is rooted in genuine solidarity? \nHow can we design development cooperation beyond strategic interests to contribute to a more just future that leaves no one behind? \nJoin us in Berlin to explore what this transformation means for German development policy and to discuss these questions with experts from state institutions and civil society organizations active in the field. \n  \nAt a glance: \nWhen?
