DESCRIPTION:Nachhaltige regionale und globale Strategien zum Umgang mit globalem Klimawandel\nEine Ferienakademie in Bayern\, mit Exkursionen am Kochelsee und Umgebung im Alpenvorland\nDie Anmeldung ist jetzt freigeschaltet! \nDer Klimawandel betrifft die ganze Welt. Seine Folgen sehen wir direkt bei uns vor Ort und global\, auch wenn die Konsequenzen teilweise unterschiedlich sind. \nAm Beispiel des Alpenvorlands untersucht das Seminar\, wie Umweltschutz und eine verantwortungsvolle Landnutzung helfen können\, wirksame regionale Strategien gegen den Klimawandel zu entwickeln. \nIn der Region um den Kochelsee werden die lokalen Herausforderungen erlebbar. Wir lernen über den Schutz und Erhalt der Moorgebiete – empfindliche Lebensräume mit vielen verschiedenen Tier- und Pflanzenarten. Sie speichern große Mengen an Kohlenstoff\, was für den Kampf gegen den Klimawandel wichtig ist. Außerdem schauen wir darauf\, wie Land verantwortungsvoll genutzt werden kann und erneuerbare Energien auf die Landschaft abgestimmt werden können. Ein Beispiel aus der Region ist die Stromerzeugung durch Wasserkraft. \nGleichzeitig diskutieren wir\, wie sich der Klimawandel und die Energiewende auf andere Regionen der Welt auswirken. Welche Strategien gibt es in verschiedenen Regionen zum Umgang mit den Folgen des Klimawandels? Welche Auswirkungen hat der Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien? Ziel ist es\, voneinander zu lernen und den Blick auf globale Zusammenhänge im regionalen Umgang mit dem Klimawandel zu erweitern. \nDies ist eine Veranstaltung der Georg-von-Vollmar-Akademie in Kooperation mit STUBE Rheinland\, STUBE Niedersachsen und STUBE RPS. \nWann? 25.05.2026\, 7 Uhr – 29.05.2026\, 23 Uhr \nWo? DESCRIPTION:Online information seminar on the BPSA grant\nAre you an international student and plan to travel to your home country/region to do an internship\, to do research for your studies or to establish contacts on the job market? Then STUBE’s BPSA program is for you! \nOn Saturday\, December  12th\,  2026\, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the BPSA grant and meet students who have already traveled to their home country with the program. \nThe STUBE BPSA Information Seminar will be held online via Zoom from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm. \nTopics that will be discussed include: \n\nWhat is BPSA?\nWhat are my expectations and goals for my stay?\nWhat are the next steps for planning my trip? What do I need to keep in mind?\nStudents talk about their experiences with BPSA.\n\nBPSA grants are available to students from countries in Latin America\, Africa\, Asia and Eastern Europe. Further information on the grant can be found on the STUBE homepage. \n  \nResponsible for the seminar: Alina Giesen (STUBE coordinator) \nVenue: The seminar will take place online via Zoom.
