What does meaningful participation look like?

Why is it important in human rights work?

How can we design inclusive spaces that encourage active, meaningful participation for human rights?

Join us for a STUBE Study Trip to Strasbourg, France to discuss these questions. We will take part in a simulation in the European Parliament, and speak to NGOs taking a participatory approach to human rights work in the city to learn what participation can look like in practice from various perspectives. Together, we will explore the opportunities and challenges of designing inclusive processes that contribute to the better protection and realization of human rights for all.

Where? Ciarus Hostel, 7 Rue Finkmatt, 67000 Strasbourg

Arrival: We will travel to Strasbourg together by train. Details will be sent around after registration.

Costs? 50€ per participant

The reservation of your space on the trip is only complete after the participation fee has arrived. We will send you the bank details after your registration.
